About the Journal
The Journal of AIDS and HIV Clinical Research (JAHCR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Pragma Journals LLP. It publishes clinical, translational and public health research on HIV and AIDS, with an emphasis on work that changes how people are tested, treated, prevented from acquiring infection and kept in care.
Antiretroviral therapy has transformed what an HIV diagnosis means, but the benefits are still unevenly shared. Late diagnosis, drug resistance, stigma, co-infections and gaps in health systems continue to decide outcomes for millions of people. JAHCR gives researchers, clinicians and programme teams a place to publish evidence on these problems, from randomised trials and cohort studies to careful case reports from routine practice.
