Aim & Scope
Children are not small adults, and the evidence used to treat them should reflect that. The Pediatrics and Neonatal Research Journal (PNRJ) publishes clinical research on the health of newborns, children and adolescents.
We welcome work from neonatal units, paediatric wards, clinics and communities, and especially studies that change how children are cared for.
Scope
PNRJ publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Neonatology and neonatal intensive care
- Prematurity and its long-term outcomes
- Paediatric infectious diseases and immunisation
- Child growth, nutrition and development
- Paediatric emergency and critical care
- Paediatric subspecialties, including cardiology, neurology and oncology
- Adolescent health
- Child mental and behavioural health
- Genetic and congenital disorders
- Child health services and policy
