Aim & Scope
Women's health is shaped as much by safety, rights and opportunity as by biology. The Journal of Women Health Safety & Empowerment (JWHSE) publishes research that looks at women's health across that full picture, from clinical care to the social conditions that surround it.
We welcome clinical, public health and social science research, and we value studies that could inform policy or practice.
Scope
JWHSE publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Sexual and reproductive health
- Maternal health and safe motherhood
- Gynaecology and gynaecological cancers
- Gender-based violence and its health consequences
- Women's mental health
- Menopause and healthy ageing
- Women's occupational health and safety
- Adolescent girls' health
- Health equity, access and empowerment
- Policy, rights and health systems
