Aim & Scope
Materials engineered at the nanoscale are changing how drugs are delivered, how diseases are detected and how tissues are repaired. The Journal of Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Research (JNNR) publishes research across nanoscience and its medical applications.
We are interested in rigorous work at every stage, from synthesis and characterisation through to safety testing and clinical translation.
Scope
JNNR publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:
- Nanomaterials: synthesis, characterisation and properties
- Nanoparticle drug delivery and targeted therapy
- Nanodiagnostics, biosensors and imaging
- Nanotoxicology and safety assessment
- Tissue engineering and regenerative nanomedicine
- Theranostics
- Nanotechnology in vaccines and immunotherapy
- Antimicrobial nanomaterials
- Computational modelling of nanosystems
- Regulation and translation of nanomedicines
Peer Review
Every submission goes through double-blind peer review by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the subject. The usual time from submission to first editorial decision is 12–14 weeks. See the Peer Review Policy for details.
Originality
All manuscripts are screened for similarity with iThenticate before they go to reviewers, as set out in the Plagiarism Policy.
Open Access and Licensing
JNNR is fully open access. Authors keep the copyright in their work, which is published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Article Processing Charges
There is no Article Processing Charge. Journal of Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine Research charges authors nothing at any stage of submission, peer review or publication.
