Aim & Scope

Neurological disorders are among the largest causes of disability worldwide, and many still lack effective treatment. The Journal of Neurology and Brain Research (JNBR) publishes clinical and translational research on the brain and nervous system.

We welcome work that brings neuroscience closer to patients, from careful clinical studies to basic research with a clear line of sight to diagnosis or therapy.

Scope

JNBR publishes original research articles, review articles, case reports and short communications in areas including, but not limited to:

  • Stroke and cerebrovascular disease
  • Epilepsy and seizure disorders
  • Neurodegenerative diseases, including dementia and Parkinson's disease
  • Multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology
  • Headache and migraine
  • Neuromuscular disorders
  • Neuro-oncology
  • Traumatic brain and spinal cord injury
  • Neuroimaging and neurophysiology
  • Cognitive, behavioural and developmental neurology
